New work for the Ohio Art Market

This is new work that I have just taken to The Ohio Art Market in Westerville, Ohio. https://ohioartmarket.com/

In 2015 I had an art booth at the Westerville Music and Art Festival and was approached by Wendy Emory who started the Ohio Art Market. She asked if I would be willing to bring some of my art to her to display in her boutique. I was honored and have had my work there since then. The Ohio Art Market has changed owners several times and now the owner is Herb Davis. He is vivacious, energetic and enthusiastic with a passion for his new business.

Herb not only has my work throughout the store but also allows me to have a portion of one of the walls for my paintings. I just picked up the pieces I had there through the holidays to make room for fresh work. Some of the new paintings I dropped off have a heart theme.

My heart pieces are in my ‘Heart Balloon’ series. They are 2-D mixed media. Some are on canvas and others are on paper. These are meant to be colorful, light hearted and inspirational. I had a lot of fun creating them and wanted them to bring joy and lift spirits for the viewer. What a great time of year for these pieces to be displayed. In addition to the “Heart Balloon’ pieces I also have some florals to brighten these gray days and a textured landscape painting as well.

If you get a chance, stop by the Ohio Art Market and check out these new paintings and see all of the fun and wonderful creations that Herb has in his boutique.
