Autumn Walk

I love walking on the bike path through all of the seasons. Most often I walk west from Granville. It is so pretty because much of it follows Racoon Creek and is largely wooded. I have painted various scenes from my walks over the years. Here is one from an early autumn day when the sunlight was streaming across the path creating lovely shadows and splashing light on some of the branches and leaves while leaving others in the shadow.

This is a 24″ X 36″ acrylic painting on a 3/4″ gallery wrapped canvas. Hopefully I have captured some of the magic of the early fall sunlight on the changing leaves.
